Brian was born in Windom, MN the youngest of six. He graduated from Northwestern College (now University of Northwestern St. Paul ) with a degree in business management. Brian met his lovely wife Penny at college while both were serving in student government. Brian and Penny have 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren. Brian has managed his family’s trucking business for 34 years.
Brian grew up in a Christian home and his family attended a Baptist church were people loved God and His people. At a young age he realized he was a sinner and needed a Savior, it was then he began a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. Brian’s faith grew as he got older. At college he had to make a decision if this faith was his or his parents'. Northwestern was a great place to wrestle with his faith. Through the help of faculty and friends he fully embraced the fact that he wanted to only and fully follow Jesus Christ.
Brian has attended Faith Baptist for over 33 years. He has worked with the youth, served on the worship team and is currently serving on the Elder Council.
In his free time Brian enjoys spending time with his family, raising cattle, gardening, smoking meat and working around their acreage.
